This may be news to you but eye problems don’t wait for one’s 40’s or 50's to set in. 

Due to late nights, imbalanced diets and improper skin care routines, many women will see consequences in their appearance as early as their mid 20’s!

Anyway, this was my case...

Words that described my eyelids:

- Hooded
- Droopy

- Tired

If the saying goes, “your eyes are the windows to your soul”, wouldn’t you want some amazing curtains? 

My eyelids have taken a hard hit despite the relatively young age. 

Sometimes people think I’m scowling, upset, or tired, because of my droopy eyelids.  

What I really need, is some kind of instant, miracle solution. Something that doesn’t hurt and works fast! 

I weighed out my options, but everything these days come with high risk for what could be little reward. 

Fillers are very popular, but I have never been too great with needles and I’m not sure if I am ready to commit to it.

For someone like myself who don't wear makeup that often, fillers would be a dramatic change. 

I also find the cost to be quite pricey.

Whether you go for a day at the spa or a clinic that specializes in skin tightening, chances are, you are spending hundreds, maybe even thousands of dollars. 

From radio frequency treatments to the popular vampire facials, it could cost more than you expected. 

Treatments are great when you want to splurge on some self-care or spend a day at the spa with the girls, but not as an everyday solution. 

I don’t need to explain anything here!

Cosmetic or reconstructive surgery on any part of your body, is not for everyone.

If you can’t handle pain (like myself), don’t have the money, and can’t afford to take time off work for recovery, this is not for you.

I’ve seen amazing results on others, but I’m not ready to commit to surgery just yet.

If only there was a way to show you what the results were BEFORE going under the knife…

These corrective eye strips can be worn every day and come in different widths so you can recontour your eyelids for your ideal look. 

I wore LIDS BY DESIGN on one eye and a generic brand on the other for one week. Or at least I tried. 

When I opened the box for Contours Rx, I was pleasantly surprised to see there were different sizes of strips ranging from 4mm-7mm. 

It comes in a convenient box to keep all the strips in order with a pair of tweezers to easily lift the strips off the sheet.

If you follow the manual, it's pretty easy to apply. 

Today I wore the 5mm strips. 

They look natural, the strip is translucent and blends well into my skin (I have olive skin tone), and its super comfortable. 

I barely notice its there! 

And more importantly, my eyelid looks lifted!

Now for the generic brand, it only comes in one size. 

If I compare it to LIDS BY DESIGN, I’m guessing this one is maybe 3mm-4mm wide?

It doesn’t come with tweezers, and both sides of the strip are sticky.

It’s a bit difficult to pick up, but once I do and place it on my eye, it seems to stay in place.

After wearing both strips, I found that Contours Rx stayed in place all day, but the other brand lost its stickiness after four hours and just fell off.

It also fell off at the worse time possible!

I was paying for a coffee when the barista politely whispered, “Excuse me, but I think your eyelid is peeling off”. 

I was mortified!

The generic brand also made my eyelid a bit red and itchy, so I don’t think I will continue wearing them.

I’m afraid it may be an allergic reaction to the adhesive or the material of the strip. 

Contours Rx is dermatologist tested, medical grade, latex free (this is probably what was in the other brand), and hypoallergenic. 

No wonder it feels so comfortable!

Today I am wearing Contours Rx on both lids, using the 4mm for a natural lift. 

I don’t wear too much makeup except mascara, so I think this width is perfect for my every day look. 

So far, I’m ecstatic with the results I’ve been getting with Contours Rx.

I like that they are disposable, so I can wear a fresh new pair every day and choose a different width depending on the look I’m going for.

I can see a noticeable difference in my eyes and I’ve been getting compliments from everyone! 

Someone even asked me if I went ‘under the knife’!

Every time I wear them, I feel more confident and I’m not embarrassed about my puffy eyes.
